It is about time talking about last weekend! I am still filled up with a lot of emotions thinking about the FQ R - it was great! So well organized from the FQ Crew, lovely meeting all the people I "knew" from Flickr, talking two days about sewing, learning new skills in sewing class with fantastic teachers - having fun all weekend long with people who have the same passion!
Es wird langsam Zeit einen Bericht über das letzte Wochenende zu schreiben! Ich bin noch angefüllt von so vielen Erlebnissen und schönen Eindrücken - es war großartig! Hervorragend organisiert von FQ, viele viele nette Menschen die mir von Flickr "bekannt" sind, zwei Tage nur über Nähen quatschen, neue Techniken gelernt und gesehen - einfach ein großer Spaß mit Menschen mit der selben Leidenschaft!
Before leaving there was no time to cut fabric for the classes I booked - so I had to go to Tikki on Friday night! There I already met a couple of lovely people!
Vor meiner Abreise war eigentlich überhaupt keine Zeit irgendetwas vorzubereiten, geschweige denn Stoff zu zuschneiden für die Workshops die ich belegt hatte - also ein Grund am Freitag Abend zu Tikki zu gehen uns Stoff zu kaufen....
On Saturday the FQR started with about 100 people!!! After a great opening from John we started chatting and sewing....
Samstag war es dann soweit und das FQR startete mit ca. 100 Teilnehmern!!!! Nach einer tollen Eröffnung von John ging es los mit Quatschen und Nähen...
Certainly there was much more: a raffle with tons of prices, the ironman quilt challenge, the jellyroll race, free motion quilt demonstration, show and tell and lots of other goodies....
Lucky me joined four workshops - design challenge with John, frame purse with Katie, freezer paper with Kerry and portholes with Lucie - I will write about these technics later. After all it was a terrific weekend, thank you to all of you!!! Hope to see you next year again!

Natürlich gab es noch viel mehr: eine Tombola mit vielen Preisen, den Ironman Quilt Wettbewerb, das Jellyroll Rennen, Free Motion Quillt Vorführung und eine Menge andere schöner Dinge...
Ich glückliche war in vier Workshops - darüber werde ich später noch genauer berichten. Alles in allem war es ein fantastisches Wochenende, vielen vielen Dank!!! Ich hoffe ich werde viele von Euch nächstes Jahr Wiedersehen!
